Your Skillteca profile stores your personal information and learning preferences. Keeping it up to date helps the platform surface the most relevant courses and allows team admins to identify you within a team plan.

Opening your profile

Click your avatar in the top-right corner of any page, then select Meu perfil (My profile).

Editing your information

On the profile page, click Editar perfil (Edit profile) to update:

Profile photoUpload a photo (JPG or PNG, max 5 MB)
Job titleYour current role — used to personalize recommendations
Company / organizationOptional; useful for team accounts
BioA short description of your background and goals
LocationCity and country — optional
Click Salvar (Save) to apply changes.

Learning preferences

Skillteca uses your learning preferences to personalize your home dashboard and recommendations. To update them:
  1. Open Meu perfil
  2. Scroll to the Interesses de aprendizado (Learning interests) section
  3. Select or deselect skill categories and topics
  4. Click Salvar preferências (Save preferences)
Changing your preferences refreshes the recommendations on your home dashboard within a few minutes.

Changing your email or password

Your login credentials are managed in Configurações (Settings), not on the profile page:
  1. Click your avatar → Configurações
  2. Go to the Conta (Account) tab
  3. Click Alterar e-mail or Alterar senha and follow the prompts
Changing your email requires verification of the new address.

Connected accounts

If you signed up with Google or LinkedIn, your account is linked to that provider. You can view and manage connected accounts under Configurações → Conexões (Settings → Connections).
Keep your job title and interests current — the recommendation engine updates in real time, so changes you make today will surface better courses immediately.
