# Invite and Manage Team Members on Skillteca for Teams

> Step-by-step guide to inviting employees to your Skillteca team plan by email, managing pending invitations, and removing members when needed.

As a team admin, you can invite employees to your Skillteca team plan by email. Invited members get a seat on your plan and access to the full course catalog, plus any paths you assign them.

## Sending invitations

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Teams dashboard">
    Click **Equipes** (Teams) in the top navigation, then click **Convidar membros** (Invite members).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter email addresses">
    Type or paste one or more email addresses, separated by commas or line breaks. You can invite up to 50 members at once.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set a role (optional)">
    Choose **Membro** (Member) or **Admin** for each invitee. All invites default to Member. You can change roles at any time after they join.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send the invitations">
    Click **Enviar convites** (Send invitations). Each person receives an email with a link to accept and join the team.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Invitations expire after 7 days. If a member has not accepted, you can resend the invitation from the **Pendentes** (Pending) tab.
</Note>

## Managing pending invitations

Pending invitations are listed on the **Membros** (Members) page under the **Pendentes** tab. From here you can:

* **Resend** — send the invitation email again
* **Cancel** — withdraw an invitation before it is accepted

## What happens when a member accepts

When an invitee clicks the link in the invitation email:

1. If they do not have a Skillteca account, they are prompted to create one
2. If they already have a Skillteca account, they simply click **Aceitar** (Accept) to join the team
3. Their existing personal course progress carries over to their account; it is not lost

## Managing existing members

From the **Membros** tab in the Teams dashboard you can:

| Action                   | How                                                              |
| ------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Change role**          | Click the member's name → **Editar** → change role → Save        |
| **Remove member** | Click the member's name → **Remover do time** (Remove from team) |
| **View member progress** | Click the member's name to see their course and path progress |

<Warning>
  Removing a member from the team revokes their access to the team plan immediately. Their personal account and any learning progress they have made remain intact — they just lose access to team-assigned courses if those are not in the free catalog.
</Warning>

## Seat limits

Your team plan includes a set number of learner seats. If you need to invite more members than your current seat limit allows, go to **Faturamento** (Billing) to add more seats or upgrade your plan.
